Support Full Recognition for Greater Page Temple!

On August 7, the Los Angeles Cultural Heritage Commission (CHC) will vote on the Historic-Cultural Monument (HCM) nomination for Greater Page Temple Church of God in Christ. While the Cultural Heritage Commission voted on June 5 to take the nomination under consideration, public support is now needed to ensure the designation fully acknowledges the place’s layered history.

Appeal Filed for Barry Building to Stop Demolition—You Can Help!

In response to the City’s latest decision, Angelenos for Historic Preservation has filed an appeal, triggering a review and reconsideration of the demolition approval. The Conservancy strongly supports this appeal. The appeal will head to the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety (LADBS), please email DBS to share your concerns.
